Job Description
Working within the Group Finance team, this role is integral in ensuring the accurate and timely reporting of our financial results. The team are responsible for the Group’s financial reporting, the coordination and running of the month and quarter end timetables for submission of results to the parent company, the monthly consolidation of results, certain areas of accounting that are centralized for the group, namely leases, and providing the technical expertise to the wider finance team.
Reporting into the Finance Manager – Group Finance, this is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, in a growing global business that operates under a SOX environment and is transitioning to reporting under a multi-GAAP framework (US GAAP and IFRS), in multi currencies. Working with a range of stakeholders, both internal and external, in a number of different countries, this is a dynamic role and an opportunity for a finance professional to make an immediate impact. The role is part of a 3-4 person team and is suited for a newly qualified accountant who is looking to make their first move into industry.
Responsibilities of the team
The role is based in our Cambridge office where we operate hybrid working with 3 days a week in the office and 2 days per week can be work from home.
Qualifications
You will have a professional qualification (ACA, CA, ACCA or equivalent) and experience working within or auditing large, listed multinational businesses. You will need the ability to work alongside and influence senior members of staff.
