Job summary

Hospitality Group is seeking a qualified finance professional to lead group reporting, consolidations, and statutory reporting. You’ll coordinate the external audit, engage with stakeholders, and drive improvements in controls and processes across the finance function.

The role requires ACA/ACCA qualification with strong group/multi-entity experience and IFRS exposure. Short notice is advantageous for joining our expanding team.

Responsibilities

• Lead reviews of month-end close for group entities.
• Prepare monthly and annual group consolidation including intercompany reconciliations and eliminations.
• Support statutory accounts and external reporting.
• Prepare management accounts packs and submit to the Group Finance Director.
• Manage intercompany accounting and complex group structures.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and other accounting standards.
• Plan and coordinate the external audit and act as main contact for auditors.
• Drive improvements across reporting processes and controls.
• Support ad hoc group finance and commercial projects.
• Teamwork with wider finance to meet deadlines and coach accounting treatments.
• Potential direct reports; support FP&A for budgeting and forecasting.

Your new company

I'm currently partnering with a dynamic and fast-growing hospitality group with ambitious expansion plans across Europe. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business at a pivotal stage of growth. Reporting into senior finance leadership, you'll play a key role across group reporting, consolidations, statutory requirements, and coordinating the audit, while partnering with stakeholders across the wider business. They are seeking someone ACA/ACCA qualified within a group accountant position currently (open on sector!). IFRS, group reporting and audit coordination/liaison experience is a must. Short notice is advantageous!

Your new role

• Lead reviews of month-end close for the group entities
• Prepare the monthly and annual group consolidation, including intercompany reconciliation and eliminations.
• Support preparation of statutory accounts and external reporting
• Prepare management accounts packs and submit to the Group Finance Director
• Manage intercompany accounting and complex group structures
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and relevant accounting standards
• Plan and coordinate the annual external audit, act as auditors' main day-to-day contact
• Drive improvements across reporting processes and controls
• Support ad hoc group finance and commercial projects
• Teamworking and liaising with the wider finance team to complete deadlines and coaching them on accounting treatments and regulations is essential

• Support the FP&A team for budgeting, forecasting & analysis

What you'll need to succeed

You'll be a qualified finance professional (ACA/ACCA) with group / multi-entity reporting expertise. IFRS exposure and experience being a key liaison for external auditors is a must. Short notice is advantageous for this role.
