Interim Group Finance Manager

Group Finance Manager - 3 months+

About the Role

As a key link between the Finance and Operational service charge teams, you'll develop and implement financial strategies that optimise income, ensure legal compliance, and maintain fair and transparent charging for residents. Your business acumen and stakeholder management skills will help drive financial efficiency and team performance.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage all financial aspects of service charges, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  2. Act as a strategic advisor, providing business support and commercial insight to service charge teams.
  3. Support and deputise for the Head of Income Optimisation when needed.
  4. Influence financial and strategic decisions across Operations through effective stakeholder management.
  5. Lead financial planning and reporting, ensuring legal and audit requirements are met.
  6. Strengthen collaboration with internal and external partners to improve service charge processes.
  7. Develop insightful financial reporting, adapting to evolving business needs.
  8. Handle complex data sets in Excel and internal systems with precision.
  9. Mentor and lead finance business partners, fostering continuous learning and development.
Skills & Experience
  1. Understanding of service charge activities, legislation, or related experience in Rents/Contract Management.
  2. Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume service-based industry.
  3. Expertise in data analysis, strategic decision-making, and financial planning.
  4. Strong communication and collaboration skills across various business levels.
  5. Proven experience in business partnering, finance leadership, and stakeholder management.
