Job summary

Ebiquity plc in the UK is seeking a Group Finance Manager on a 5-month fixed term contract to support the year-end reporting cycle. The role centers on group reporting, IFRS technical accounting, external audit and tax reporting within a collaborative finance team.

You will lead or support goodwill and impairment reviews, assist with acquisitions and restructurings, coordinate audits, and drive improvements in reporting processes and controls while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
• Significant experience within a Group/Financial Reporting or Technical Accounting function of a listed company.
• Proven experience of Group consolidations, annual report preparation and year-end audit processes.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and statutory reporting requirements.
• Experience preparing technical accounting assessments and impairment reviews.
• Good understanding of tax accounting and financial statement disclosures.
• Experience using consolidation and financial reporting systems.
• Advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of the Group's year-end reporting process and annual report.
• Prepare technical accounting assessments and supporting papers under IFRS.
• Lead or support goodwill and intangible asset impairment reviews.
• Support accounting for acquisitions, disposals, restructurings and other non-routine transactions.
• Coordinate external audit requirements and manage audit queries.
• Support tax accounting, deferred tax calculations and financial statement disclosures.
• Prepare and review Group consolidation schedules and supporting reconciliations.
• Provide technical support across the Group Finance team, including monthly reporting and consolidation activities.
• Support improvements in reporting processes, controls and documentation.
