Job summary

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager with a strong commercial and operational mindset to lead our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and a proven track record of managing multiple staff members. Experience in the care sector in the United Kingdom is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the financial operations of the organization, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, ensuring their development and performance.
  • Develop and implement financial and data driven strategies to support the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support for decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Utilize new digital / cloud-based technology to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency across the group.
  • Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Responsible for group-wide KPI reporting.
  • Ownership of 7-home reporting pack.
  • Banking administration.
  • Acquisition integration support (when required ).
  • Systems ownership (Found, QuickBooks, Modulr ).
Requirements
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) is preferred.
  • Proven experience in a finance management role, with a track record of managing multiple staff members.
  • Strong commercial and operational acumen.
  • Proficiency in financial software and technology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in the care sector in the United Kingdom is a significant advantage.
