Job description

The Finance Consultant will play a pivotal role in supporting the accounting and finance operations within the Business Services sector. This temporary position, based in Stevenage. The role is going to be monthly financial statements (group structure) and also the budgeting process.

Client Details

The hiring organisation is a well-established entity within the sector. For this role we need a candidate that has been in an SME environment and has been hands on.

Description

• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Monthly ledger postings/management for smaller entities including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow statement
• Group Financial Accounts - statutory reporting and compliance
• VAT returns, consolidation and compliance/reporting
• Year end work - stat packs, tax packs, audit, statutory accounts
• Cashflow Forecasting and budgeting
• Prepare and review financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities as required.

Profile

A successful Group Finance Manager should have:

• Proven expertise in an SME and Group structure
• Hands on ability within financial statements
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with financial systems and tools.
• Sound knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Fully qualifications (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
