Job description

In this role you will look after a Group of manufacturing companies and support strategic finance within an international business, you will support FP&A activity, Financial Reporting, Financial Operations, Financial Systems and Business Partnering from a group wide perspective. You will spend 50% of your time working on projects to improve and develop finance.


This role is ideal for an ICAS, ICAEW or ACCA qualified auditor looking to transition into a commercial sector role. If you have a background managing complex client audits then this role would serve as a 'finishing school' and pathway towards a senior finance career. If you are eager to take the next step into a strategic finance role within an international business then this could be an ideal position for you.


Key responsibilities:



  • Financial Reporting & Compliance: You will develop accounting policy, ensure this embedded within the business and deliver group reporting and consolidated accounts.

  • Systems, Processes & Controls: You will drive improvements, embed standardisation and strengthen financial controls whilst ensuring business risks are managed.

  • Cash-flow & Working Capital Management: You will report on the group cash position, forecasts and support liquidity planning and finance strategies.

  • Business Partnering & Strategic Support: Work with in-country local finance teams and operational teams to drive investment decisions and capital allocations.

  • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and overall financial planning, you will conduct variance analysis and provide performance insights

Who We are Looking For:



  • ICAS, ACCA or ICAEW-qualified accountant (or equivalent) with a strong track record of managing complex client audits.

  • Excellent understanding of IFRS and multi-jurisdictional accounting, you will also have strong analytical, financial modelling, and reporting skills.

  • Experience in financial systems improvement, ERP optimisation, and process automation in an advisory capacity.

  • Experience in multinational statutory compliance and group consolidations and intercompany transactions from audit is preferred but not essential.

  • Superb communicator with a track record of building relationships and working with clients to achieve desirable outcomes.

  • Willingness to travel as required.

  • Flexibility to work outside standard hours when necessary.
