Job summary

Ad Warrior Ltd in Doncaster is seeking an experienced Group Finance Manager to oversee the day-to-day finance function across a growing hospitality group.

You will lead management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and financial controls, with support from a Finance Assistant, and work closely with senior management to optimise performance across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Previous experience managing finance in a multi-site hospitality group.
• Strong management accounting, budgeting and forecasting experience.
• Excellent Excel and financial systems skills.
• ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualified/part-qualified, or strong relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Manage budgets, forecasts and cash flow.

• Oversee purchase ledger, sales ledger and bank reconciliations.
• Review and support the work of the Finance Assistant.
• Oversee payroll reconciliation and financial controls.
• Monitor departmental costs, margins and profitability.
• Manage VAT returns and support year-end accounts and audit.
• Provide financial analysis and commercial support to senior management.

Group Finance Manager

Location: Doncaster

Salary: £42,000 - £49,000 per annum

Vacancy Type: Full-Time

The company are looking for an experienced and commercially focused Group Finance Manager to oversee the day-to-day finance function across their growing hotel group.

Working closely with senior management and supported by a Finance Assistant, you will take ownership of management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and financial controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Manage budgets, forecasts and cash flow.
• Monitor performance against budget and investigate variances.
• Oversee purchase ledger, sales ledger and bank reconciliations.
• Review and support the work of the Finance Assistant.
• Oversee payroll reconciliation and financial controls.
• Monitor departmental costs, margins and profitability.
• Manage VAT returns and support year-end accounts and audit.
• Maintain strong financial processes and controls across the group.
• Support the implementation and ongoing use of Sage Intacct and integration with Opera PMS.
• Provide financial analysis and commercial support to senior management.

About You

• Previous experience as a Finance Manager, Management Accountant or similar.
• Strong management accounting, budgeting and forecasting experience.
• Excellent Excel and financial systems skills.
• Comfortable working across multiple businesses or locations.
• Commercially minded with strong attention to detail.
• Hospitality or multi-site experience would be advantageous.
• ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualified/part-qualified, or strong relevant experience.
