A central Bristol based professional services client is seeking a qualified Finance Manager to lead a team of five accountants. This hybrid role involves oversight of financial reporting and ensuring the integrity of financial performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting skills and excel in team management.

Job description

Description: Are you a qualified accountant with experience of leading a small team? Are you technically strong around financial reporting and month end? Can you work in Bristol city centre twice a week in a hybrid working role? If yes is the answer to these questions then we'd be keen to hear from you as our central Bristol based professional services client is looking to bring a new manager into the finance team to oversee 5 qualified accountants. You'll be tasked with ensuring the monthly financials incorporating the reporting, forecasting, analysis and the overall general financial performance of the business is reported accurately and there is constant review of the control accounts to ensure the financial integrity of the balance sheet. As a well rounded finance professional you'll have excellent communication skills, have experience in managing the external audit and have excellent excel skills capable of manipulating and analysing big data. This is an excellent role for a qualified accountant who has strong technical accounting qualities, strong communication skills and the ability to develop and support a small team.
