Job summary

FD Recruit is partnering with a privately owned specialist construction and plant hire group to appoint a Group Finance Director. The role places you at the head of finance across multiple entities, partnering the CEO to shape strategy and ensure robust month‑end processes.

You will own consolidation, cash management, budgeting, intercompany, audit and tax, while leading a growing team and delivering insightful Board reporting to support ambitious growth.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with SME group finance experience.
• Experience as the senior finance lead in an SME or owner‑managed business.
• Experience with consolidation, intercompany, audits and tax compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead group finance across multiple entities including consolidation and intercompany.
• Own month‑end close, cash management, budgeting and Board reporting.
• Drive strategy with the CEO and support growth initiatives.
• Build and develop the finance team to support a growing multi‑entity group.
