About the role

As the Group Finance Director at albelli-Photobox Group, you will play a critical role in providing consolidated financial information to key stakeholders. Reporting directly to the CFO and collaborating closely with other finance leaders, you will oversee financial controls, liquidity management, and financial reporting across the Group. Your expertise in accounting principles, financial leadership, and strategic decision-making will be instrumental in driving the Group's financial success and meeting the requirements of our financing agreements.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate and timely financial information to investors and lenders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Improve, implement, and align controls for the month-end close across the Group post-merger.
  • Manage the Group audit process across the UK and NL, delivering consolidated financial statements on time.
  • Oversee the relationship with the Group Insurance broker, ensuring appropriate risk coverage.
  • Lead cashflow forecasting for effective group liquidity management.
  • Own the liquidity model and annual budget cycle.
  • Take overall responsibility for the Group Consolidation system Cognos Controller.
  • Ensure accurate and timely management accounting for corporate holding companies.
  • Set and maintain Group accounting policies and technical guidance.
  • Respond confidently and accurately to ad-hoc queries from stakeholders.
  • Lead and manage Group Financial Controllers in the UK and NL.

Experience and Attributes we’d like to see:

  • ACA or MBA qualified, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls.
  • Proven experience leading a Group Finance function and running audit processes.
  • In-depth knowledge of IFRS and experience in financial leadership within a customer-oriented business.
  • Exposure to M&A and external stakeholders, such as private equity and lending banks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Commercially minded, with a track record of driving financial success and contributing to strategic decision-making.

Nice to Have Experience:

  • Knowledge of the Dutch, German, French, or Spanish language would be advantageous.
