About The Role
The Group Finance Director will oversee the company's global financial consolidation, reporting, compliance, and audit processes. This role ensures the timely and accurate preparation of consolidated financial statements, drives process improvements, and maintains internal controls.
Key Responsibilities
Consolidation Management
- Lead the monthly consolidation process for global operations, including subsidiaries and joint ventures, within NetSuite.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve accounting and system issues to ensure seamless operations.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of consolidated financial statements in compliance with standards and policies.
- Serve as the main accounting contact for HoldCo and Fund Manager entities.
- Establish and maintain global accounting policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with regional finance teams to align with local statutory requirements.
Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare and deliver monthly management reports, including variance analysis.
- Reconcile intercompany balances across the group.
- Review and approve month-end reporting packages.
- Enhance the group's reporting framework continuously.
Group Audit
- Manage the annual group audit process and liaise with auditors.
- Manage audit risks and address issues proactively.
- Coordinate with regional finance leads for documentation and schedules.
Team Management
- Manage and develop the finance team.
- Supervise external accounting service providers.
- Mentor team members and set objectives aligned with company goals.
- Promote talent development and succession planning.
Process Improvement
- Optimize financial workflows using technology and automation.
- Lead finance digital transformation initiatives.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Proficient in NetSuite or similar ERP software.
- Expertise in financial consolidation and intercompany reconciliation.
- Experience in team leadership and management.
- Results-driven, proactive, with attention to detail.
Other Requirements
- Certified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
- 8+ years of relevant experience, especially in consolidation and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Experience in a global or multi-entity environment, preferably in tech, investment, or asset management sectors.
