- Group Finance Director - High-Growth Business | M&A | Systems Integration

- Salary: Up to £145,000 + Bonus

A dynamic, fast-growing business at the forefront of its sector is looking to appoint an exceptional
Group Finance Director on an
18-month contract to support strategic growth and transformation.
This is a
critical leadership role in a business undertaking multiple acquisitions, operational integration, and a potential systems upgrade. Reporting directly to the CFO, you'll work closely with the executive team, providing financial clarity, control, and commercial insight.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Lead group financial reporting, management accounts, and performance insight
- Produce and enhance board packs, KPI dashboards, and rolling forecasts
- Support M&A execution, integration, and post-deal reporting
- Build a 'performance excellence' dashboard for operational and financial KPIs
- Manage the budgeting process and 5-year strategic plans
- Oversee tax compliance, audit, treasury, and cash forecasting
- Maintain lender relationships, manage covenant compliance, and financing decisions
- Drive system and process improvements; support ERP integration planning
- Lead and develop the FP&A function to support business planning
- Partner with the wider exec team to support business cases and complex agreements
- What We're Looking For:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA); MBA or second qualification is a plus
- Proven experience in senior finance leadership roles
- Strong M&A exposure with successful post-acquisition integration
- Experience in service-based or contract-led businesses (NHS or public sector is a bonus)
- Operationally focused with strong technical and commercial skills
- Experience leading process improvement and financial transformation projects
- High-level stakeholder engagement, including PE and board-level interaction
- Experience managing tax, treasury, and audit for a multi-entity group
