Group Finance Director | High-Growth Complex Group | Retained Assignment
c.£120,000 base + Car + Bonus | Burnley-Based with Hybrid Working

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially astute Group Finance Director to join a dynamic, fast-scaling business based in Burnley. As a trusted partner to the Board and Senior Management Team, you will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction and operational success of the Group.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the Group's financial strategy, delivering high-quality Board reporting and data-driven insights through consistent KPIs and robust management information.
• Act as a trusted advisor to the Board and senior leadership, supporting the delivery of strategic priorities and enabling scalable, profitable growth.
• Oversee long-term funding strategy, optimise working capital, and ensure cashflow and treasury management remain a key business focus.
• Champion digital transformation across finance and IT, ensuring systems and infrastructure support future business needs.
• Drive strategic M&A activity including financial modelling, due diligence, and post-deal integration.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, advisors, auditors, and internal stakeholders.
• Strengthen governance, compliance, and financial controls across the Group.

Candidate Profile:
• A qualified accountant with extensive senior finance experience, ideally within a complex operationally focussed group.
• Background in a growth-focused SME with a strong understanding of the commercial drivers behind performance.
• Strategic and hands-on, capable of delivering both big-picture thinking and operational precision.
• Experienced in stakeholder engagement, cross-functional leadership, and team development.
