Department: Accounting & Finance
Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time
Location: London UK
Reporting To: Group Services Finance Business Partner
Reporting to the Group Services Finance Business Partner, this newly created role will give the successful applicant the opportunity to share in the reshaping of how finance support IT and other central functions to enable them to focus on the core activities that help them drive value for the business.
Due to the rapid growth of the group as a whole, there’s a need to improve processes and reporting to enable more timely and better decision making. Initially the role will have a transformational aspect, using the upcoming migration to a new ERP as the basis to undertake a detailed focus on reviewing existing reporting and building out a suite of reporting and processes in line with the needs of Senior leaders within group IT. This initial work will help to create a blueprint which can be deployed to other central functions as appropriate.
On a day to day basis, the primary objective will be to help IT derive maximum value from relevant MI and strategic support, as well as being a link between the central functions and divisional finance teams to ensure cost is being appropriately budgeted and captured across the business. The role has the scope to broaden as efficiency gains increase the capacity to support other areas.
