Job summary

Job description

Sherborne Schools Group is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Group Estates Operations Manager to lead the delivery of outstanding operational services across our prestigious school sites. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking Estates team and play a key role in ensuring that our campuses remain safe, welcoming, efficient and exceptionally well-presented environments for pupils, staff, parents and visitors.

Reporting to the Director of Estates, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across a diverse range of services, including housekeeping, grounds and gardens, waste management, porterage and event support. Leading a team of managers and operational staff, you will drive high standards, champion continuous improvement and ensure the seamless delivery of services across the Group's extensive estate.

The successful candidate will be a confident people leader with strong operational management experience, excellent organisational skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. You will work collaboratively with colleagues across the Schools, manage contractor performance, oversee budgets and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and service delivery, ensuring our facilities continue to support an outstanding educational environment.
