Job summary

Serco Limited in the UK seeks a part-time Group Facilitator for HMP Dovegate in Staffordshire. 20 hours weekly, pro rata salary £34,475, plus benefits. You will deliver group-based therapeutic interventions within a therapeutic community, supporting rehabilitation and personal growth.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, assess risk, and prepare professional reports, including parole documentation, to help ensure a safe, accredited environment.

Qualifications

• You have experience delivering group-based interventions, therapy or therapeutic support within a forensic, custodial, clinical or related environment.
• You hold, are working towards, or have equivalent experience relevant to psychotherapy, counselling, group analysis or therapeutic practice.
• You can build trust, communicate effectively and work confidently within a multidisciplinary team.
• You have experience assessing risk, maintaining professional records and producing high-quality written reports.
• You're committed to making a positive impact and supporting people to achieve meaningful personal growth and change.

Responsibilities

• Support the assessment, treatment and development of residents with complex psychological and behavioural needs.

• Contribute to service development, quality assurance activities and the continuous improvement of therapeutic practice.
• Work collaboratively with clinical and operational colleagues to maintain a safe, effective and accredited therapeutic environment.
• Promote wellbeing, rehabilitation and positive behavioural change through evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

Schedule: Part Time 20 hours per week (3 days)

As a Group Facilitator in our Therapeutic Community team at HMP Dovegate, you'll help deliver specialist therapeutic interventions that support rehabilitation, personal growth and lasting behavioural change. Through group-based therapeutic practice, you'll play a key role in creating a safe, constructive environment where individuals can develop healthier ways of thinking and living.
