Job description

Job Title: Group Exercise Manager

Location: Nuffield Health Islington FWC | Permanent | Part Time

Hours: 10 hours per week

About the Role

If you’re passionate about fitness and wellbeing, you could take the lead on delivering exceptional customer service at our club. Your responsibilities include motivating members, teaching classes, reviewing timetables, and ensuring timely responses to members. You will proactively develop your knowledge and our offerings.

Qualifications and Experience

As a Group Exercise Manager, you should be a qualified instructor with relevant qualifications in class-based exercise. Experience in a corporate or commercial fitness environment is essential. Ideally, you will also hold a first aid qualification and be familiar with Emergency Action Procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Teach classes in the studio and the pool
  2. Develop our class and timetable offerings, aligned with current trends and budget constraints
  3. Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and codes of practice
  4. Maintain and clean all equipment properly
  5. Promote health assessments, classes, and programmes offered
  6. Follow procedures for opening and closing the Centre and processing memberships
