Job summary

Freedom Leisure is seeking a Group Exercise Instructor to join a friendly, professional team. You will lead and supervise group classes, ensuring participants get the best, in a fun, safe environment. We value teamwork, strong communication and a passion for delivering great customer experiences.

Casual hours, as and when required, with benefits including staff discounts and flexible working. Training and support are provided to help you thrive in our community-focused leisure centres.

Qualifications

• Nationally recognised group exercise qualification.
• Experience leading/coaching and supervising group exercise classes.
• Experience in leisure environment with customer service.
• Demonstrated ability to work within a team.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Maintain high professionalism and integrity.

Job description

We are looking for a Group Exercise Instructor to join our friendly and professional team. You will be customer focused and ensure that all attending are getting the best from the class, in a fun, enjoyable and safe environment. We are looking for a real people person, who is a team player, as you will work alongside members of the fitness team to ensure a successful class programme. We also welcome applications from passionate Instructors who can bring something new to the programme. Our key focus is to ensure our employees and customers to have the best experience possible, So if this sounds like you, we want to hear from you. In the event that a high volume of suitable applications are received, the post may close prior to the specified closing date. Hours: Casual hours, as and when required.

• Nationally recognised group exercise qualification
• Previous experience of leading/coaching and supervising group exercise classes
• Experience working in a leisure related environment involving customer service
• To be able to demonstrate previous experience of working within a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Be able to maintain the highest level of professionalism and integrity
