Job summary

Everyone Active is seeking an ambitious fitness instructor to lead group exercise at Cockermouth Leisure Centre. You will deliver high-quality classes, ensure safety, and inspire participants to stay active and engaged across our programme.

You must hold CIMSPA-eligible qualifications, with a DBS check completed before starting, and be able to adapt to a variety of class formats to boost member satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must hold CIMSPA-qualifying qualifications for group exercise delivery.
• DBS check required prior to starting.
• Experience delivering group exercise classes is essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide fitness instruction in group exercise classes to a high standard.
• Ensure exceptional customer service and safety.
• Be enthusiastic and inspiring in class delivery.
• Promote health and wellbeing to customers.
• Build positive relationships to improve retention and satisfaction.

Everyone Active is currently seeking an ambitious and self-motivated individual to take on this role and embrace our brand mission of 30 minutes of activity 5 times a week

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and providing fitness instruction in group exercise classes for our customers to a high standard

We need an instructor who will…

• Ensure that the highest levels of customer service and safety are achieved
• Be enthusiastic and inspiring
• Be passionate in promoting health and wellbeing to our customers
• Build positive relationships with customers to increase retention and customer satisfaction
• Be flexible in the classes they can cover
• Have good timekeeping and excellent communication skills

You will have the relevant qualifications for this class that qualify you for CIMSPA registration and will require a DBS to be completed prior to starting.
