Job summary

Village Hotels is seeking a Group Exercise Fitness Manager to design and oversee a high-energy timetable, balancing internal instructors with a roster of external freelance staff. You will lead a commercial, guest-focused studio operation working with cutting-edge tech like Myzone and industry partners such as Les Mills.

You’ll drive class performance, coach your team, and own the studio’s delivery, culture, and guest experience while shaping a market-leading timetable in our hotels.

The Role Outline: Your Shift at a Glance

As our Group Exercise Fitness Manager, you are the ultimate architect of the studio. You will coordinate our internal coaching team and manage a dedicated roster of external freelance instructors to deliver a vibrant, high calibre timetable. Working alongside the Leisure Club Manager, you will use cutting edge tech like Myzone and partner with industry giants like Les Mills to ensure our classes absolutely dominate the local market.

• The Timetable Reality: Building the schedule. You will create a vibrant, balanced timetable featuring Village Exclusive classes alongside Les Mills, Zumba, and Hiit Company, ensuring we hit our strict occupancy and visit targets.

• The People Management: Wrangling the talent. You will lead, coach, and motivate both our internal team and a complex roster of external freelance staff, ensuring they have the product knowledge and raw energy to deliver beyond expectations.

• The Commercial Hustle: Protecting the numbers. You will treat the studio like your own business, achieving budgeted spend, monitoring class performance, and ensuring we smash our internal health, safety, and brand audit scores.

• The Tech & Trends: Keeping us cutting edge. You will upskill your team using technology like Myzone and foster a culture where instructors are constantly developing their own group delivery.
