HSL Compliance is seeking a Group ESG & Operations Assistant to help support regional teams from a Midlands base. The role is hybrid with UK site travel. You will manage ESG project data, format documentation, and coordinate travel, reporting to the Group HSEQ Director.
After onboarding, expect 3–4 days per month on-site travel to build relationships and support projects. Ideal candidates have senior admin or project support experience, strong Excel/Word skills, and a willingness to travel 3–4
Location: Midlands (Hybrid, with regional site travel)
Salary: up to £30,000 per year
Reporting directly to the Group HSEQ Director (Water Treatment), you will act as a vital administrative link between head office, regional teams, and executive leaders.
You will manage your own workload independently—tracking ESG project metrics, producing formatted documentation, and coordinating travel. Following an initial onboarding phase visiting our various UK sites, you will maintain a regular presence (3–4 days per month) to build strong internal relationships, audit administrative alignment, and support operational projects.
Apply basic project management skills to support ESG initiatives, group sustainability goals, and operational workflows.
Meticulously format corporate documentation and track data using advanced Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Handle sensitive personnel, operational, and corporate data with absolute discretion and integrity.
Build collaborative relationships with staff at all business levels, from frontline field technicians to senior directors.
Proven experience in a senior administrative or project support role (Essential).
Strong hands‑on proficiency with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and Word.
Exposure to basic project management principles or tracking ESG/HSEQ workflows is highly desirable.
Exceptional ability to manage your own workload, prioritise tasks, and work independently from a home base.
Confident, professional communicator who maintains strict confidentiality.
Full UK Driving Licence with total willingness to travel to UK sites (3–4 days per month after initial onboarding). Ideally based in the Midlands.
