Fantastic opportunity for a Group Electrical Installation & Maintenance Engineer to join a leading specialist manufacturer with over 50 years in the industry. This award-winning organization has a strong track record.

This role is suited for a driven, motivated engineer with strong electrical skills.

The role is commutable from Rochdale, Bolton, Manchester, Oldham, and Littleborough.

Shift: Days – Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4 pm, early finish on Fridays. Call-out system in place (1 in 7).

Responsibilities and requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role essential.
  • Strong fault-finding skills.
  • Experience in manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of AC & DC Drives, wiring, panel building, instrumentation.
  • Experience with Siemens PLCs; fault-finding skills are crucial; programming is a plus.
  • Planned preventive maintenance.
  • Routine servicing and inspections of machinery.
  • Testing of equipment and systems.
  • Experience with ATEX equipment preferred.
  • Mechanical skills (approx. 30%).
  • Apprentice-trained maintenance electrician preferred.
  • Formal qualification in Electrical Engineering (City & Guilds Level 3 or NVQ Level 3).
  • Knowledge of 17th/18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
  • City & Guilds 2391 Testing qualification.
