Job summary

Taylor Root is helping a major UK consumer business appoint a Senior Data Protection Manager in its central Data Protection function. The role sits at group level, ensuring privacy risk is understood, managed and reported consistently across the organisation.You will federate privacy activity with Data Protection Analysts, join the dots for senior stakeholders, and shape how data, privacy and AI are governed. Based in London, the role is three days per week in the office.

Qualifications

• Extensive data protection experience with strong knowledge of UK privacy law.
• Able to influence stakeholders outside direct line management.
• Experience implementing group-wide privacy governance and risk reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own group-wide privacy risk and compliance reporting.
• Coordinate federated privacy activities with Data Protection Analysts.
• Develop consistent privacy risk prioritisation for senior leadership.
• Partner with Legal, Risk, Internal Audit and Information Security.
