Located in the heart of Mayfair, London Hilton on Park Lane was the first Hilton to open within the UK and is close to all that London has to offer. Soaring high above Park Lane, the hotel is famed for its unparalleled five-star luxury. With 453 spacious guest rooms, including 56 suites and a Presidential Suite, there is something for all.

2023 was the hotel’s 60th anniversary, which has seen the refurbishment of Executive rooms and suites as well as a re-development of the lobby level, including a brand new restaurant and bar.

Yearly salary of £29,101.80

What will I be doing?

  1. Assist clients in planning their events to an excellent standard.
  2. Responsible for communicating with clients on a daily basis with any queries and anticipating their needs. Providing guidance and expertise on services to enhance the guest experience.
  3. Build strong relationships with customers to fully understand and materialise their needs.
  4. Working with the GC&E Sales team and the Operational teams to ensure seamless communication from start to finish of the client’s event.
  5. Continuously updating the system with all booking details and communication activities.
  6. Enjoy working as part of a sociable team.
  7. Work independently, take ownership and drive own bookings.
  8. Arrange and carry out Hotel show rounds and client meetings.
  9. Handling the complete enquiry and planning process from start to finish including receiving and customising proposals.

What are we looking for?

  1. Excellent organisational and administration skills.
  2. Positive attitude and good communication skills.
  3. Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service.
  4. Confident telephone manner.
  5. Strong level of IT skills including ability to learn different computer systems.
  6. Proficient in Outlook and Microsoft Office.
  7. Excellent grooming standards.
  8. Demonstrated previous experience working in an event planning environment.
  9. Strong attention to detail.
  10. Resilience and ability to thrive even in high pressure situations.
