A prominent health organization is seeking a Group Chief Delivery Officer to lead improvement initiatives across multiple hospitals. You will be responsible for enhancing NHS performance and working collaboratively with a senior leadership team. The ideal candidate has significant board-level experience in large acute healthcare facilities and a strong capability for managing cultural change. This position offers a full-time permanent contract with a competitive salary based on experience.
Humber Health Partnership is seeking to appoint a Group Chief Delivery Officer to join the organisation at the start of its improvement journey. This is an Executive voting role, reporting to the Group CEO. The Chief Delivery Officer will be integral to the senior leadership team and to the implementation and delivery of the newly developed three phased improvement programme. The role has group-wide responsibility for improving performance and the delivery of the national constitutional standards and will lead on delivery of specific programmes of improvement, innovation and transformation. The selection process will take place on the 10th and 11th November.
The Chief Delivery Officer will be responsible for the delivery and improvement in performance of the NHS Constitutional Standards including Urgent and Emergency Care, Referral to Treatment, Cancer and Diagnostics. The Chief Delivery Officer will also be responsible for reporting all aspects of operational performance to the Trust Board, ICB and NHSE, including benchmarking and trajectories.
The role will be part of a Group Executive Director team as well as a unitary Board member and will be an effective team player in working collaboratively with executive colleagues to deliver the organisation's strategic priorities. The post focuses on ensuring the organisation is able to successfully deliver its three-phase improvement plan and participating in the continued evolution of the clinical pathways across the Integrated Care System, defining ground-breaking service design that transcends traditional organisational boundaries.
The role provides strong visible leadership for operational delivery across the five hospitals and oversees complex hospital and community-based delivery within a wider Integrated Care System, ensuring alignment against an agreed improvement plan for the organisation.
