Recruiting Finance & Accounting Professionals within the Investment Management Industry - Manager at JSS Search

JSS are pleased to be partnered with a fast growing Investment Services business who have super high M&A activity and are adding to their high performing London team.

I am looking for a newly qualified ACA with excellent attention to detail and someone who interested in complex and technical work.

Key responsibilities:

• Month-End Financial Reporting – Contribute to the core month-end close process, including the preparation of consolidated Group financial statements such as profit and loss (P&L), balance sheet (BS), and cash flow statements.
• FP&A Support – Work alongside the FP&A lead on key activities including budgeting, forecasting, and implementing ERP systems.
• ERP System Development – Learn and help enhance processes related to the ERP solution.
• M&A Support – Support the Group’s acquisition efforts by participating in financial due diligence, valuation analysis, integration activities, and complex accounting matters.
• External Audit & Reporting – Assist in the external audit process and help with the preparation of Group-level financial statements.
• Group Accounting Policies – Contribute to the creation and maintenance of accounting policies tailored to the Group’s complex structure.
• Control Framework Development – Help design and implement internal controls across the Group.
• Business Partnering – Collaborate closely with operational teams to ensure the accuracy and integrity of both historical and forward-looking financial information.

Ideal Candidate:

• ACA qualified with 1st time passes and strong academics
• Ideally Audit trained with experience working with Group companies/complex Groups
• Fast paced, hard working individual with a 'hands on mindset'
