Role PurposeA key contributor to the Group's Statutory Financial Reporting function, responsible for supporting the external financial reporting process. This includes the preparation of IFRS-compliant financial statements, the Annual Report, investor presentations, and associated regulatory filings. The role also involves assisting in the creation and distribution of financial reports and audits.
Operational- Prepare IFRS and FRS 101-compliant statutory accounts (single entity and consolidated) for the Group, ensuring accuracy and adherence to reporting standards.
- Assist with the year-end audit and interim reporting processes, where required.
- Support the development of the Annual Report and investor presentations, ensuring consistency and clarity of financial messaging.
- Research and resolve IFRS technical accounting issues, documenting findings and updating internal accounting policies accordingly.
- Maintain and enhance internal control frameworks, ensuring alignment with IFRS and best practices.
- Collaborate with Finance teams across the Group to gather data and ensure completeness and accuracy of financial disclosures.
- Produce financial reports for stakeholders.
- Document and improve financial processes, including preparation and maintenance of process manuals.
- Support tax planning activities, including transfer pricing and management recharge frameworks, in collaboration with external advisors.
- Undertake ad hoc projects and assignments, contributing to continuous improvement and strategic initiatives.
Skills And Experience ACA or ACCA Fully Qualified is Essential.- Strong IFRS technical accounting knowledge
- Consolidation experience of financial statements across international locations
- Intermediate/Advanced excel skills
- Attention to detail is a must
