Job summary

Tate Recruitment is seeking a technically strong accountant for a fast-growing international travel business in London. You will work on group reporting, IFRS compliance and strengthening financial controls within a multinational group.

The 3‑month contract may become permanent for the right candidate, with hybrid working from Kings Cross. You’ll contribute to monthly/quarterly/annual reporting, liaise with auditors, and support business transformation initiatives while engaging with senior

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with strong technical accounting
• Experience in group reporting, consolidations and statutory accounts
• Strong IFRS knowledge
• Advanced Excel skills
• Audit and compliance experience

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial reporting.
• Assist with statutory and regulatory reporting in line with IFRS.
• Contribute to the production of board and management reporting packs.
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Support the delivery of annual financial statements and disclosures.
• Work closely with auditors and coordinate information requests.
• Prepare technical accounting papers and accounting position memos.
• Maintain and strengthen financial controls across the group.
• Support tax and transfer pricing activities where required.
• Drive process improvements and support finance transformation initiatives.

This is a fixed 3-month contract. However, for the right person this could go permanent.

London – Kings Cross (Hybrid)

Hours – 9am to 5pm

I am working with a fast-growing international travel business undergoing an exciting period of transformation. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing finance team, gain exposure to senior stakeholders and play a key role in group reporting, financial control and business improvement initiatives.

Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, you'll be involved in consolidated reporting, IFRS compliance, statutory accounts and strengthening financial controls across a complex multinational organisation.

About You

We're looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with strong technical accounting expertise and excellent attention to detail.

You will ideally have:

• Experience in group reporting, consolidations and statutory accounts
• Strong knowledge of IFRS
• Previous audit and compliance experience
• Advanced Excel skills

Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• The ability to communicate complex financial information to a range of stakeholders
• Experience working within a multinational or complex group structure
• Experience in maritime, expedition, or cruise industry beneficial
