Overview

Responsibilities

Role As the Dealership Division Sales Manager, your main purpose is to meet and surpass agreed sales and profit targets for the Dealership Division. You will sustain and foster relationships with specified Dealer Groups within the portfolio, developing sales and profit with existing Franchised Dealer Groups while identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities. You will work closely with various stakeholders within the company to ensure profitable growth and act as an ambassador, representing the company in all business-to-business scenarios.

  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve agreed sales, profit, and cost targets for the Dealership Division.
  • Build and maintain sustainable relationships with existing Franchise Dealer Group companies.
  • Implement training programs within Franchised Dealer groups to enhance sales, sales mix, and profitability.
  • Devise marketing initiatives to enhance Dealer participation in approved Stapleton's Franchise Dealer Group Tyre Programs.
  • Acquire and develop new business from non-supporting Franchise Dealer Groups to expand market penetration.
  • Conduct regular performance review meetings with Franchise Dealer Groups and Franchise Divisions under your purview.
  • Foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
  • Generate customized data and reports to meet customer and business needs.
  • Manage and analyze all commercial terms and accruals for assigned accounts.
  • Collaborate closely with various departments and personnel to ensure program growth aligns with expectations.
  • Address customer and supplier concerns and complaints in accordance with agreed service standards.
  • Ensure effective adherence to the Company's Imprest Stock Policy and associated administrative processes.
  • Contribute to the long-term strategic development of the Dealership Division.
  • Undertake ad-hoc project work, joint visit support, training, and BDM area coverage as directed.
Qualifications
  • Proven success in sales with high-level experience in Account Management.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging with Board and Director-level stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage complex commercial arrangements.
  • Proficiency in IT packages, systems, and reporting tools including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • High standard of personal appearance with excellent planning and organizational abilities.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a track record of achieving set objectives.
  • Flexible regarding travel requirements, holding a valid UK driving license.
