Job summary

MSM Contracts Ltd. is seeking a Groundsworker to join our Belfast-based construction team. You will be responsible for preparing sites and carrying out a wide range of groundworks across Northern Ireland, including drainage, kerbing, paving, and concrete work.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in construction groundworks.
• Strong understanding of safe working practices.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Excavation and site preparation.
• Installing drainage systems, manholes, and underground services.
• Laying kerbs, paving, block paving, and concrete.
• Trenching, backfilling, and reinstatement works.
• Reading site drawings and following supervisor instructions.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area.
• Collaborating with site managers, engineers, and other trades.
• Following health and safety procedures and company policies.
