RD Nairn Ltd is seeking a Groundworker to assist with preparing construction sites, excavation, laying pavements, drainage, and foundations. The role involves operating plant machinery and complying with health and safety procedures.

You will support various construction tasks, interpret drawings and specifications, and ensure work is carried out to required standards with a strong work ethic and physical fitness.

Competenze

• Experience as a groundworker or similar construction role.
• Ability to follow drawings and specifications.
• Commitment to health and safety procedures.

Mansioni

• Clear a construction site and prepare foundations.
• Dig trenches for foundations and lay pavements, kerbs, and driveways.
• Set up site, barriers, safety signs, huts, etc.
• Operate plant machinery such as excavators and dumper trucks.
• Follow all Health and Safety procedures on site.
• Provide excavation support to other construction professionals.
• Interpret drawings and specifications.
• Prepare ground/foundations to begin construction.
