Job summary

EDF Energy Limited is currently seeking an experienced Groundworks Supervisor for Sizewell C, Ballycommon, on a major civil package. You will supervise groundworks gangs across drainage, ducting, concrete and earthworks while ensuring safety, RAMS adherence and on-time progress.

The role requires CSCS Gold Supervisor Card, SSSTS and CITB HSE Supervisor (SUPS) credentials, with proven site leadership and strong health & safety knowledge on large projects.

Qualifications

• CSCS Gold Supervisor Card, SSSTS and CITB HSE Supervisor (SUPS) certifications required.
• Proven experience supervising groundworks gangs on large civil or infrastructure projects.
• Strong health and safety knowledge and ability to work in permit-controlled environments.
• Ability to lead teams and communicate effectively on site.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate groundworks gangs delivering drainage, ducting, concrete, earthworks and associated civils.
• Ensure works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with RAMS and site procedures.
• Conduct daily briefings, toolbox talks, and task supervision.
• Monitor productivity, quality, and programme targets.
• Liaise with Site Management, Engineers, and subcontractors.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and site compliance.
