Job Description:

Client: Our client is a specialist groundworks and builders work contractor. The business was established 18 months ago by an ex-director from a multi-million-pound contractor. Turnover is currently at £5 million. They are a young, dynamic business experiencing continuous growth. After a successful period of winning work, they are looking to expand their operations team and seek a Groundworks Site Manager.

The successful candidate will manage a £2.6m contract involving the demolition of an existing skate park, installation of new underground drainage, and site leveling and filling to prepare for the installation of a new skate park.

Responsibilities:

• Design review (scope gaps/clashes)
• Short-term programming
• Health & Safety (RAMS)
• Sub-contractor coordination
• Quality assurance
• Liaising with client team and sub-contractors
• Progress meetings with sub-contractors

The ideal candidate:

• Must have SMSTS and First Aid qualifications
• Experience managing projects of £2m or more
• Client-facing
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a management role
