Job Description:

Client: Our client is a specialist groundworks and builders work contractor. The business was established 18 months ago by an ex-director from a multi-million pound contractor. Turnover is currently at £5 million. They are a young, dynamic business experiencing continuous growth. After a successful period of winning work, they are looking to expand their operations team and are seeking a Groundworks Site Manager.

The successful candidate will manage a £2.6m contract involving the demolition of an existing skate park, installation of new underground drainage, site levelling, and preparation for the installation of a new skate park by a specialist contractor.

Responsibilities:

• Design Review (scope gaps / clashes)
• Short-term programming
• Health & Safety (RAMS)
• Sub-contractor coordination
• Quality Assurance
• Liaising with client team and sub-contractors
• Progress meetings with sub-contractors

The ideal candidate:

• Must have SMSTS and First Aid qualifications
• Experience managing £2m projects previously
• Client-facing
• A minimum of 3 years experience in a management role
