Job description
Overview

As a Groundworks Quantity Surveyor, you will be working on a major Government construction contract that will provide a critical asset to the local area. Within the role, you'll be working within the Commercial Team, supporting them in building projects that support and develop the local communities.

Responsibilities
  • Working alongside the project delivery team, you will ensure the contractual control and cost management of projects across different sectors.
  • Having exposure to the full project lifecycle with involvement across pre-construction through to project delivery
  • You will manage the commercial aspects of subcontract accounts from procurement to interim and final account agreement and be involved with the final account negotiation to ensure the best possible outcome.
Qualifications
  • Ideally you will have experience from a similar role within the construction industry
  • Strong understanding of contract administration, procurement, and change management processes.
  • You'll be proficient in the use of MS Office, particularly Excel
