Job summary

Laing O''Rourke is hiring Groundworker for High Marnham Site, NG22 0FX. In-person work on site with drainage, excavation and finishing tasks, following drawings and site plans on a busy construction site.

You will install mains drainage and utilities, assist with excavation support, and maintain safe working areas according to site requirements. Collaboration with the team is essential to drive efficient progress.

Qualifications

• Proven groundworks experience.
• Valid CSCS Card required.
• Dumper and roller tickets desirable.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong understanding of site health and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general groundworks activities including drainage, excavations, concreting and finishing works.
• Install mains drainage systems and associated utilities.
• Work from drawings and site plans to complete works safely and accurately.
• Assist with excavation works and temporary excavation support systems.
• Establish and maintain safe working areas in line with site requirements.
• Support other construction activities as required.
