Job summary

One Way is seeking an experienced Groundworks Gang for a busy project in the Wimborne area. The successful gang should include 1 machine operator and 2 groundworkers, all with solid drainage and general groundworks experience.

The machine operator will work hands-on, step out of the machine when required, and support groundworkers. This is a team-based role, not machine-only.

Qualifications

• Machine Operator with CPCS/NPORS certification.
• Groundworkers with CSCS cards and drainage/groundworks experience.
• Full PPE and good health and safety understanding.

Responsibilities

• Operate and assist on groundworks as part of a 3-person gang.
• Maintain teamwork and communication on site.

Job description

One Way are looking for an experienced Groundworks Gang for a busy project in the Wimborne area.Ideally, we are looking for an established gang consisting of:

• 1 x Machine Operator.
• 2 x Groundworkers.

The gang must have good all-round groundworks experience, particularly drainage, excavations and general groundworks.The Machine Operator must be hands-on and willing to get out of the machine and assist the Groundworkers when required. This is a team-based role rather than a machine-only position.

Requirements

• Machine Operator with appropriate valid CPCS or NPORS ticket.
• Groundworkers with valid CSCS cards.
• Strong drainage and general groundworks experience.
• Full PPE.
• Good understanding of site health and safety.
• Reliable and able to work effectively as a team.

Rates

• Machine Operator: £23.00 per hour.
• Groundworkers: £21.50 per hour.

Good continuity of work available for the right gang.

Established gangs are welcome to apply together.
