Job summary

LNT Care Developments in Oxford is seeking an experienced Groundworks Contracts Manager to lead multiple groundworks projects across the Oxford region and the South of England. You will drive safety, timeliness and cost control while upholding high quality standards.

The role requires 10+ years in a Groundworks Contracts Manager position, strong RAMS capability and excellent communication. A demanding but rewarding opportunity to shape high-quality care environment developments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in a Groundworks Contracts Manager role.
• Ability to manage 4–5 projects concurrently with teams of 7+ operatives.
• Knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation.
• RAMS production for site-specific safety documents.
• Strong commercial awareness and budget delivery.
• Experience in S278 works, services and external works.
• Take-offs from design drawings for material and plant requisitions.
• Excellent communication and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple groundworks projects to deliver safely, on time and within budget.
• Ensure high quality standards across all sites and projects.
• Prepare RAMS and site-specific safety documentation.
• Maintain accurate records and progress reporting for stakeholders.

As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Groundworks Contracts Manager to support the delivery of our projects in Oxford and across the South of England.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple groundworks projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• 10+ years’ experience in a Groundworks Contracts Manager role.
• The ability to manage and plan for 4–5 projects concurrently, with a minimum of 7 operatives per site.
• Experience and knowledge of current health, safety, and environmental legislation.
• Competence in producing site-specific Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
• A commitment to achieving a high standard of quality in all aspects of work.
• Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to deliver projects within allocated budgets and programmes.
• Experience in S278 works, services, and all external works.
• Competence in completing take-offs from design drawings for material and plant requisitions.
• Excellent communication skills and accurate record keeping.
