Job description

Madisons Recruitment are looking for Groundworkers with pre-employment BPSS or SE Security clearanceto start ASAP.

You will be working on an MoD/MoJ site where you will need to have hadBPSS or SE clearance previously completed.

If you have had clearence through previous contractors, we can acquire a Vivo card for you.

Digs are offered and paid for.

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of groundwork including:
• Excavation and trenching
• Drainage installation
• Concreting and formwork
• Kerbing, paving, and tarmacking
• Reinstatement and landscaping
• Follow technical drawings and site plans
• Operate plant and machinery (if appropriately certified)
• Work collaboratively with site managers, engineers, and subcontractors
• Ensure compliance with site-specific health and safety procedures
• Maintain security and confidentiality standards on sensitive sites
• Adhere to MoD/MoJ working protocols and regulations at all times

Requirements

• BPSS or SC clearance (Essential)
• MoD Experience
• Valid VIVO Card (Previously AMEY)– Ideal but can be applied for.
• Proven experience as a Groundworker in construction or civil engineering
• Strong knowledge of groundwork practices, te
• chniques, and tools
• CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) – preferred
• Additional certifications (e.g, CPCS, NPORS, Streetworks) – advantageous
• Ability to pass enhanced DBS checks and MoD security vetting
• Physically fit, reliable, and capable of working outdoors in varying conditions
• Full UK Driving Licence – desirable
