Job summary

Stridden Limited is seeking an experienced Groundworker for a drainage connection project in Marcham, Oxfordshire. The role involves deep drainage work, connecting to the main sewer, and underpinning groundworks for a new construction site.

You will carry out excavation, pipe laying and ensure safety around live sewers and services, adhering to RAMS and site procedures. Candidates should have a valid CSCS card, Streetworks/NRSWA ticket preferred, strong drainage experience, and reliable

• Confident working at depths of approximately 1.8m.
• Full PPE.

Groundworker - Marcham - Streetworks - Drainage Connection

Stridden Limited are recruiting for an experienced Groundworker with Strong Drainage experience for a project in Marcham, Oxfordshire.

Location: Marcham, Oxfordshire

Duration: Approximately 1 week then moving to another site in Banbury for 5-6 weeks

Project: Drainage / Sewer Connection

Start: Monday

Duties

• 1.8m deep drainage connection
• Connecting onto the existing main sewer
• Drainage works in preparation for a new construction site
• Excavation and preparation of drainage runs
• Pipe laying and associated groundworks
• Working safely around an existing sewer and services
• Following site RAMS and Health & Safety procedures

Requirements

• Valid CSCS card
• Valid Streetworks / NRSWA ticket (preffered)
• Strong previous drainage and groundworks experience
• Experience with deep drainage and sewer connections
• Confident working at depths of approximately 1.8m
• Full PPE
• Reliable transport to Marcham
• Recent relevant references

Previous experience carrying out connections onto existing main sewers is highly desirable.
