Job summary

Fortel is seeking an experienced Groundworker with Dumper & Roller tickets to join our civil engineering and construction teams on a range of projects in the UK. This hands-on role requires trenching, drainage, concreting and site preparation tasks, with the ability to operate forward tipping dumper and ride-on roller when required.

Applicants should hold a valid CSCS card (Green Skilled Worker preferred), manual handling training, and CPCS/NPORS tickets for plant.

Qualifications

• CSCS card valid; Green Skilled Worker preferred.
• Manual handling training certificate present.
• CPCS/NPORS plant tickets desirable (Forward Tipping Dumper, Ride-on Roller).

Responsibilities

• Site preparation & groundworks including excavation support and trenching.
• Lay drainage pipework and install attenuation tanks and ducting.
• Concreting and formwork for foundations and slabs.
• Leveling and compaction using rollers and plates.
• External works including kerbs, pavements and block paving.
• Operate Forward Tipping Dumper and Ride-on Roller safely.
• Assist site teams and machine operators as required.
