Job summary

Teamforce Labour Ltd in Wimbledon is seeking an experienced Groundworker with a CPCS or NPORS Telehandler ticket for an immediate start on a West London construction site.

The role requires carrying out core groundworks, operating a Telehandler safely, and coordinating with site supervisors to meet programme timelines. Applicants must hold a valid CSCS card and relevant Telehandler qualifications.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS Card
• Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler ticket
• Proven experience working as a Groundworker
• Previous experience operating a Telehandler on construction sites
• Full PPE
• Good understanding of site health & safety
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and in a team

• Carrying out all aspects of groundworks, including drainage, kerbing, edging, foundations and general site works
• Operating the Telehandler safely and efficiently as and when required
• Loading, unloading and distributing materials around site
• Preparing, excavating and levelling ground for construction works
• Assisting with backfilling and reinstatement works
• Working closely with site supervisors and other trades to meet programme requirements
• Carrying out daily plant checks and reporting defects
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working area
• Ensuring all works are completed in accordance with site health & safety procedures

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading contractor on an ongoing construction project.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out all aspects of groundworks, including drainage, kerbing, edging, foundations and general site works.
• Operating the Telehandler safely and efficiently as and when required.
• Loading, unloading and distributing materials around site.
• Preparing, excavating and levelling ground for construction works.
• Assisting with backfilling and reinstatement works.
• Working closely with site supervisors and other trades to meet programme requirements.

• Ensuring all works are completed in accordance with site health & safety procedures.

Essential Requirements

• Valid CSCS Card
• Valid CPCS or NPORS Telehandler ticket
• Proven experience working as a Groundworker
• Previous experience operating a Telehandler on construction sites
• Full PPE
• Good understanding of site health & safety
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Additional plant tickets would be advantageous
