Job summary

Coinford Ltd in Sevenoaks is seeking experienced Pipelayers to join our groundwork teams on sites across Sevenoaks. You will play a key role in installing drainage systems and underground pipework, ensuring safe, efficient and to-spec work.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Pipelayer in drainage and groundworks.

Responsibilities

• Laying and installing drainage pipes (clay, plastic and concrete)
• Setting out and working to levels and falls from drawings and laser equipment
• Installing manholes, chambers and associated drainage structures
• Benching, concreting and surrounding pipework
• Carrying out deep drainage and trench work
• Ensuring correct alignment and gradient of pipelines
• Working closely with machine operators and groundwork teams
• Reading and interpreting drawings and technical specifications
• Maintaining high health & safety standards at all times

Job description

We are looking for experienced Pipelayers to join our groundwork teams on sites across Sevonoaks. You will play a key role in the installation of drainage systems and underground pipework, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to specification.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Laying and installing drainage pipes (clay, plastic and concrete)
• Setting out and working to levels and falls from drawings and laser equipment
• Installing manholes, chambers and associated drainage structures
• Benching, concreting and surrounding pipework
• Carrying out deep drainage and trench work
• Ensuring correct alignment and gradient of pipelines
• Working closely with machine operators and groundwork teams
• Reading and interpreting drawings and technical specifications
• Maintaining high health & safety standards at all times

REQUIREMENTS:

• CSCS Skilled Worker Blue Card(essential)
• Proven experience as a Pipelayer in drainage and groundworks
• Strong understanding of drainage systems, levels and gradients
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Good awareness of site health & safety practices
• Reliable, punctual and able to work well within a team
• Right to work in the UK

DESIRABLE:

• CPCS / NPORS (CSCS-affiliated) tickets*
• Confined Spaces Training
• Experience working with laser levels
• 5-10+ years of groundwork or pipelaying experience
• Established gangs or teams with proven ability to work together
