Job summary

Careys are seeking experienced Groundworkers to join a major long-term infrastructure project in Teesside. The role covers enabling works followed by main construction, with consistent work for the right candidates and competitive rates.

Applicants should have Dumper/ Roller tickets, an in-date Safety Critical Medical and a valid CSCS card. Experience on large civils projects and a strong commitment to health and safety are essential for success on this on-site contract.

Qualifications

• Dumper and Roller tickets (CPCS or NPORS) - Desirable
• In-date Safety Critical Medical
• Valid CSCS Card

Responsibilities

• Installation of ductile iron pipework and associated fittings
• Deep drainage and utilities installation
• Trenching, backfilling and reinstatement works
• Assisting with concrete works and foundations
• Operating plant where competent and ticketed (Dumper/Roller)
• Working around existing live services safely and effectively
• Installation of ducts, chambers and drainage systems
• General civils and infrastructure groundwork activities
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety and housekeeping on site
