Job summary

Carey Group in the UK is seeking an experienced Groundworker to join a major long-term infrastructure project in Wigan. The role covers enabling works and progressing into main construction, offering consistent, long-term work.

Applicants should hold Dumper and Roller tickets (CPCS or NPORS), a valid CSCS card and an in-date Safety Critical Medical. A strong focus on health and safety, reliability and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Dumper and Roller tickets (CPCS or NPORS) required.
• In-date Safety Critical Medical and CSCS card.
• Strong health & safety focus and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Installation of ductile iron pipework and associated fittings.
• Deep drainage and utilities installation.
• Trenching, backfilling and reinstatement works.
• Assisting with concrete works and foundations.
• Operating plant where competent and ticketed (Dumper/Roller).
• Working around live services safely and effectively.
• Installation of ducts, chambers and drainage systems.
• General civils and infrastructure groundwork activities.
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety and housekeeping on site.
