Fawkes & Reece is seeking an experienced Groundworker in Chester for a major water infrastructure project. You will perform general groundworks and civil duties, operate a dumper when required, and assist other trades on site.

The ideal candidate will hold a Dumper CPCS/NPORS ticket, CSCS/CPCS/NPORS certification as applicable, and have a solid understanding of site health and safety. Reliable team players are essential for this long-term assignment.

Qualifications

• Dumper ticket with CPCS or NPORS.
• CSCS/CPCS/NPORS certification as applicable.
• Solid understanding of site health & safety requirements.
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• General groundworks and civil engineering duties.
• Operating a dumper when required.
• Slinging and signalling lifting operations.
• Excavation, drainage and associated groundwork.
• Assisting other trades and site teams as required.
• Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.
