Job summary

Bowercross Construction Ltd is seeking an experienced Groundworker to join the team for on-site groundworks, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-standard completion of tasks. You will help with site prep, trenching, foundations, drainage, and laying kerbs or concrete, with plant work only if you hold the relevant tickets.

Requirements include a CSCS card, dumper and roller tickets, and the ability to work both as part of a team and independently.

Qualifications

• CSCS card is essential.
• Dumper and Roller tickets are essential.
• CPCS/NPORS plant tickets are desirable.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Site preparation and clearance.
• Digging trenches, foundations and drainage.
• Laying kerbs, slabs, concrete and tarmac.
• Operating plant machinery if tickets are held.
• Assisting with pipe laying and ducting.
• Working to site health and safety regulations.
• Supporting other trades as required.

• Previous experience as a groundworker
• CSCS card (essential)
• Dumper and Roller ticket (essential)
• CPCS/NPORS plant tickets (desirable)
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential)
