Job summary

Bauer Media Outdoor is seeking a Groundworker to join our Bristol Depot. The role involves travelling to sites across the South West, installing steel structures and digital advertising screens.

You will perform hand and machine excavations, lay mass concrete foundations, and manage underground ducting while maintaining safety and quality standards. Requirements include 3–5 years in excavation works with utilities, NRSWA, traffic management knowledge, and ability to read technical drawings.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience in excavation works involving utilities.
• NRSWA qualification required.
• Traffic management knowledge and proper procedures.
• Understanding of CDM Regulations 2015.
• Experience with working at height (ladders/scaffolding).
• Competence reading technical drawings and setting out to line and level.

Responsibilities

• Travel to sites in the South West and South Area; work away from home as needed.
• Install steel structures and digital screens; perform groundwork and excavations.
• Cast mass concrete and foundations; finish groundworks with surface finishes.
• Excavate around network cabling; identify underground services.
• Read drawings and set out to line and level; operate machinery as needed.
