Job summary

A construction company in East Kilbride is seeking a diligent Groundworker to assist in constructing concrete bases and dismantling existing buildings. The ideal candidate will have experience in similar roles, be skilled in operating machinery, and ensure that sites remain clean and organized. This full-time, permanent role offers a salary of £675.00 per week, with early starts and the occasional overnight shift required.

• Must have held a similar position in previous employment.
• Driving Licence Required.
• Fit and healthy with checkable references.

Responsibilities

• Set up site to required base size for new building.
• Load and unload materials for each day's job.
• Leave customer's site clean and tidy.

Driving Machinery - Digger & Dumper

Knowledge of depth and levels

Ability to lay Hardcore, DPM & Construct Timber Framing

Pouring and floating of concrete

Job description

We are looking for a Groundworker for the construction of our concrete bases to accept our buildings, along with Dismantle of Existing Buildings on site

You must have held a similar position in previous employment.

Duties:

Arriving on Site and setting up to the require base size for the customers new building
Driving Machinery - Digger & Dumper
Be good with depth and levels making sure the best level are sought at all times.
The Knowledge of how to lay Hardcore, DPM & Constructing Timber Framing
Pouring and floating of the concrete
Leaving Customers Site Clean & Tidy
Other Duties may apply
Loading & Unloading Materials for each days job

Driving Licence Required

The successful candidate must be diligent in their working and be organised. You must be fit and healthy and checkable references are essential.

This position will involve some early starts and the very occasional Saturday & Overnight is required. You must also have your own transport to get to work due to location of yard. If you have the above experience please call 07896738901. No TXTS Please.
